32nd Johnny Kelley Half Marathon

The 32nd Johnny Kelley Half Marathon begins at 8:15 am on May 27, 2012, alongside the Hyannis Town Green.
Course Description
The course is extremely picturesque and historical, traveling down Main Street, Hyannis, past historic Hyannis Harbor and the Hy-Line Nantucket Ferries, by the John F. Kennedy Memorial, with a great view of Kalus Beach and Lewis Bay, through historic Hyannisport, along Craigville Beach and through the charming Cape Cod village of Centerville. Lots of water views!
The course is paved, and mostly flat and gentle, with a few rolling areas.

The Johnny Kelley Half Marathon is a one-loop course. The course is not closed to traffic; however, the traffic is very light on most of the course. The course is well monitored by the Barnstable Police Department and seasoned road race volunteers.

Each race will be designated with a different colored Bib# to differentiate the participants in 2012.

Photography
Capstone Photography will cover the race course, capturing photos of runners as they progress through the race. Race photos will be posted within five business days at www.capstonephoto.com for viewing and purchase. Unlike other race photography companies, Capstone Photography puts each image ordered through an exacting post-capture optimization process, so you can be sure that each photo you receive will be the best it can be!

Awards & Finisher Medals

To the top 2 finishers in each age and weight division, men and women: 14 & under, 15--17, 18--29, 30--39, 40-49, 50--59, 60--69, 70 & over, Clydesdale Open and Masters 190-210lbs., Clydesdale Open and Masters 211-225lbs., Clydesdale Open and Masters 226lbs.+, Clydesdale Sr. Masters 190lbs.+ & Filly Open and Masters 140lbs.+.
The overall, age and weight divisional winner awards ceremony will be on the Hyannis Village Town Green at 11:00 A.M. We will not be mailing out awards - you must attend the awards ceremony.
The first man and woman will each win a special engraved plaque.
The top two in each division will be awarded a 2.5" medal with engraved race logo.
Half Marathon "Finisher Medals" to all that complete the 32nd Johnny Kelley Half Marathon.

Water stops & other aid stations
6 aid stations, providing water, lemon-lime gatorade, and toilets.
Courses staffed by emergency vehicles, and there are three (3) EMT's along the course and four (4) at the Finish Line, with Emergency Service provided by Hyannis Fire Department and Centerville Fire Department.
