Race Weekend Schedule

May 25, 2008 - Sunday 7:15 - 8:45 A.M.

Pre-Registration pick-ups & Day-of-Race Registration on the Hyannis Village Town Green.

The 5Km begins at 8:50 A.M. at the Barnstable Police Officer Michael Aselton Memorial overlooking Hyannis Harbor located at the corner of Ocean Ave & South Street and the 7.2 Miler & Half Marathon begin at 9:15 A.M. on Main Street alongside the entrance to the Hyannis Village Green. It will take you two minutes to get from the Hyannis Village Green to the START-please plan appropriately.

Post Race Party

Following the races on Sunday, there will be a terrific post race party that will include fruit, bagels, BBQ, refreshments & LIVE music on the Hyannis Village Green.

Hyannis and Old Cape Cod

Hyannis is a gorgeous town, with equally incredible surroundings. The John F. Kennedy Memorial with its stone wall bearing the presidential seal, the pool and fountain, sit on Ocean Street. In addition to Kalmus Beach, Keys Beach, and Veterans Beach, Craigville Beach is the largest on the Cape. The aforementioned Melody Tent offers concerts and comedy, theater and dance with theater-in-the-round format, and show plays nightly. There are harbor tours, whale watching tours, the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, and much more. And in every direction your running takes you while there—fun, training, and competition—they will be will be sublime, enjoyable miles.
